Recently I ran across another real-time flight tracker in the Netherlands for Google Earth. The Geluidsnet web site (in Dutch) lets you watch planes arriving and departing from a few airports through this Google Earth network link [Google Earth Required. You must have GE installed.] (once it loads, click on "Schiphol area" to see the tracks for the last 30 minutes). They display a vertical "fence" below each plane to help visualize the altitude and paths. Orange fences are arriving aircraft, green are departing. The visualization gives a better sense of position and the number of planes when viewed from an angle. If you look closely, you will notice every few seconds the positions (and fences) change.

The Eurovision Song Contest has been an annual presentation and competition of songs since 24 May 1956 and is broadcast on television throughout Europe; since 1967 the festival has also been broadcast in countries outside Europe. You can also follow the festival on the internet. The festival owes its name to the Eurovision TV Distribution Network, part of the European Radio Union (EBU). Every active member of the EBU can participate in the song festival, which means that some countries that are just outside of Europe can participate. It concerns countries in North Africa, the Middle East and West Asia. Since 2015, Australia has also been participating in the festival despite the fact that it is not a member of the EBU.
